The base for this herbal eye gel is organic ghee, coconut oil, and sweet almond oil - all rich, natural moisturizers for the delicate skin under the eyes. Ghee or clarified butter is well known in Ayurveda for its cooling properties, which are especially important for the eyes that tend to store a lot of heat. Herbs like raw turmeric, triphala, yashtimadhu/licorice, and saffron are great for evening out skin tone and maintaining good skin quality. Triphala is a considered an excellent herb for the eyes and vision, in Ayurveda. Aromatic herbs like rose petals and sandalwood add a rich, calming, natural aroma to this product.
The skin is the largest organ in our body and absorbs whatever you put on it. Ayurveda recommends that we only put on our skin what we are willing to put in our mouths. None of our products contain any chemicals or preservatives. The eye gel may be safely used as often as necessary to help your eyes look fresh and beautiful.
Usage Instructions: Using a clean, dry finger, apply a thin layer of eye gel just under the eye area. Try not to get the gel into your eyes to avoid eye irritation. Best to use overnight. You should start seeing changes within a week of consistent usage every night. Storage Instructions: Store the product in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the cap securely fastened to prevent leaks and spills. Ensure that no water and/or moisture gets in.
